Island Dream

This is a painting I have at High Country Art and Antiques in Blue Ridge, GA. Blue Ridge is a great little North Georgia mountain town with lots of neat shops and restaurants, an old train depot, cultural arts center and nearby Blue Ridge Lake and the Toccoa River. Great day trip or weekend getaway from Atlanta. And High Country is a great gallery with fantastic artists, pottery, jewelry and antiques. I have seven other paintings there besides this one. The gallery is well worth the trip.

Inman Park Festival

Had a booth at the Inman Park Festival this past weekend. Saturday was a washout...literally. After sitting under my tent with about a two inch river running through it, I finally gave up and packed it in around 3:00. Sunday was a beautiful day and I sold three paintings. I love being able to meet the people who buy my art. This is one that sold from my "Views from the Road" series. This is the exit off I-575 onto Barrett Parkway when wild flowers were in bloom.
